The Driver Era is a music duo established in 2018 by brothers Ross Lynch and Rocky Lynch, who were previously part of the band R5. The duo's music encompasses a variety of genres, including alternative rock, funk, R&B, and pop. The Driver Era made a significant impact with their debut single, "Preacher Man," released on March 16, 2018, and their debut studio album, "X," followed on June 28, 2019.

After their initial success, The Driver Era continued to produce music that resonates with their fans, releasing 20 singles, including the notable tracks "Keep Moving Forward" and "Malibu" in 2022. Their second studio album, "Girlfriend," was released on October 15, 2021, and was supported by a tour with dates in the US, Asia, Australia, and Europe. The duo's third studio album, "Summer Mixtape," was launched on September 16, 2022, and they have already announced their fourth studio album, "Obsession," set for release on February 14, 2025.

Beyond their studio albums, The Driver Era has also engaged in several tours, including headlining The Driver Era Live! in 2019, The Girlfriend Tour from 2021 to 2022, and Live on Tour '22 in 2022.
