The Feurtado Brothers

Urban Specialists

Todd and Lance Feurtado are former drug kingpins and ex-gang members, now "Urban Specialists," who made a decision to change their lives to become motivational and inspirational speakers. As ex-offenders, they have a unique approach to gang intervention and prevention. They utilize their experience from a past lifestyle to get a strong message of action and consequences across to at risk youths.

Emerging as important leaders and outspoken voices in their community, The Feurtado Brothers founded the King of Kings Foundation, a 501© 3 non-for-profit organization. The foundation was created as a way of giving back to communities by reaching out to at risk youths by addressing the issues that hinder the social, physical, economic, cultural and spiritual growth of youths in New York City and the Nation.

The King of Kings Foundation's mission is to inform our children, youths and young adults of the dangers and consequences of guns, gangs, violence, drugs and lack of education, all of which can lead to poverty, homelessness, and incarceration. Their goals are to change the cultural environment by educating, motivating, uplifting and inspiring in an effort to eliminate violent and destructive behavior, despite the elements that continue to surround our future generations.

The foundation began its work in public schools nationwide in November 2004 to assist students, teachers, vice-principals and principals in bringing civil order and promoting education through workshops, assembly's, summits, presentations and educational anti-drug documentaries. They target at-risk students, particularly those who are struggling with behavioral and academic issues.

Todd and Lance also founded their own production companies Executive Star Productions, and The Blessings of God Productions. These companies produced and released one the hottest, most informative anti-drug educational documentaries on the market today, "King of Kings," and a soundtrack that won The Bronze Telly Award, The D.U.E. Award and was nominated for The 1st Annual Urban DVD Award. Sales from their DVD helped to raise money to benefit victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The Feurtado Brothers have appeared on dozens of TV and radio talk shows, including ABC's "Like It Is," BET's "American Gangster," and TBN's "Praise the Lord." They have also appeared on the front covers of F.E.D.S. and Felon magazines. They are the recipient of numerous accolades and awards including the Guiding Lights in the Community Award and The Liberty Bell from Mayor John F. Street of Philadelphia. They have also been keynote speakers with Bill Cosby at the Savor Our Children Summit in Wilmington, DE and on Capitol Hill at the Congressional Black Caucus Summit on the Hill.
