The Nude Party is an American rock band that formed in 2012 at Appalachian State University. The band, made up of childhood friends and step-siblings, decided to form a band and THEN learned how to play instruments. The sextet ended up moving into a lake house where they jammed nightly. They became the house band at a Boone locale where they performed naked, which led to their moniker (although they no longer perform naked). Their first EP, Hot Tub, was released in 2016. Their full-length debut album, the eponymous The Nude Party, was released on New West Records in 2018.
