Her most recent project is "Sex and Sisterhood," a workshop co-presented with HBO Def Poet Mayda del Valle, focused on relationship building among women. In addition, she has facilitated women's self-awareness groups, teen relationships support groups, and hip-hop poetry workshops for children ages nine to 18. After eight years Monyee completed her first solo poetry album entitled in/Tuition.

Authentic and passionate, Monyee's words resonate with audiences long after her performance.
