Theresa Mazzaro has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years with a variety of experience to include Critical Care, Hospice, Cancer Outreach Education, and as a Flight Nurse in the US Air Force.

She has presented at numerous conferences on recruitment practices for the Patient and Candidate Experience to include: ASHHRA, PRC, NAHCR, TMA's Creating a Customer Service Culture, as well as local Healthcare Recruitment Associations.

Mazzaro participates in numerous panel presentations on Contingent Labor in the Healthcare Sector and best practices for seamless care.

Prior to this current role, she had the pleasure of being the Nurse Recruiter for PeaceHealth Southwest, engaging nursing leaders to hire the very best staff and advance practice nurses to make a difference in our patient's quality outcomes and the overall experience; driving our departments to the 90th percentile in patient satisfaction.

During her professional tenure as a nurse (and even prior to that), Mazzaro had the distinct honor of serving her country in the United States Air Force – working Active Duty and the Reserves until 2006, when she retired with 23 years of service
