As a SharePoint consultant, I focus on platform architecture, design, planning, governance, deployment, administration, manageability and availability. As an accidental DBA, I have a close affinity with SQL Server too.

I work for Atos (formerly Siemens IT Solutions & Services) where I support my customers in designing, building out and maintaining their SharePoint infrastructures. I have some 10 years of broad experience in supporting Microsoft enterprise technologies, especially in the base infrastructure and collaboration product stacks.

Closely monitoring the Microsoft development ecosystem, I also have a thorough understanding of what's going on in the .NET world. Calling me a real developer would be a bridge too far however.

I regularly speak and present on mainly SharePoint and SQL related topics. Recent speaking engagements include sessions at the Belgian Information Worker User Group (BIWUG), SharePoint Saturday Belgium 2012 and Community Day 2012.
