Thomas is innovation manager at BMW InnovationWorks and co-founder of the BMW Startup Garage, the incubator for early stage automotive startups of the BMW Group. The Garage helps startups with a technology that can significantly advance or transform the automotive sector to succeed in this multi trillion dollar industry. At InnovationWorks, an internal Innovation Strategy team, Thomas leads projects to develop global innovation strategies and visionary products in the context of mobility and digitalization. Before joining BMW in 2002, he worked as senior consultant in several positions and companies. Having studied mechanical engineering in Munich, he has about 20 years of experience in information technology and automotive industry.
