Wang Tianfu focuses on China’s social stratification, household wealth accumulation, urban change and sociology of the family. He is a professor of Sociology and the vice chair of the Department of Sociology at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Wang has published papers in Social Sciences in China and Sociological Studies and is on the International Editorial Board of Social Forces.
