Comedian, Actress, Dancer & Author; Best Known for "Girls Trip"

Tiffany Haddish is an actress, comedian, singer, model, dancer and author. Her big break came in 2017 with her role as Dina in the comedy film “Girls Trip,” for which she received critical acclaim. That same year, Haddish released her memoir, “The Last Black Unicorn,” a collection of personal essays that detail her rise to stardom from growing up poor in South Central Los Angeles with an absent father, abusive stepfather and schizophrenic mother.

Haddish had a recurring role on “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and appeared on the first season of “If Loving You Is Wrong,” which aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network. She then played Nekeisha on NBC’s “The Carmichael Show” for three seasons.

She starred as Hi C in the comedy film Keanu opposite Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele in 2016. Then, in 2017, Haddish got her big break starring alongside Queen Latifah, Regina Hall and Jada Pinkett Smith in Girls Trip. In the Chicago Tribute, Katie Walsh wrote, “This is Haddish’s movie and (it) will make her a star. It’s clear from the moment she hits the screen.”

On November 11, 2017, Haddish became the first African-American female stand-up comedian to host Saturday Night Live. Haddish's performance on the show earned her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Haddish has also had several roles as a voice actress, appearing in The Secret Life of Pets 2, The Angry Birds Movie 2 and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. She also voiced the character Tuca in the Netflix series “Tuca & Bertie.”

Currently, Haddish plays the lead role, Shannon “Shay” Birkeland on the TBS sitcom “The Last O.G.”
