In spite of this hardship, Davis attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 2003 and a Master of Arts in 2005. An outstanding accomplishment for Davis was his media appearance, which afforded him the opportunity to serve as an actor.
