Tim Phillips is the Founder and CEO of Beyond Conflict, a non-profit organization that contributes to the field of transitional justice in post-communist Europe. The initiative works with community leaders in the United States and abroad to help promote social change.

Most recently, Phillips has led Beyond Conflict in creating the field of Neuroscience and Social Conflict. He has encouraged the peace process in several nations, including Northern Ireland, El Salvador, and South Africa. Phillips has also advised the United Nations, the U.S Department of State, and the Council of Europe. He is a frequent speaker in national and international forums, including the Council on Foreign Relations and the U.S Congress.

Phillips received his educated from Suffolk University and the London School of Economics.
