Paraplegic Athlete & Motivational Speaker

Timothy Alexander is a motivational speaker who has dedicated his life to motivating and inspiring others. In high school he was the eighth-ranked football player in the state of Alabama, but a car accident in 2006 left him paralyzed from the neck down.

He went on to enroll at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he majored in criminal justice and communication management. There he became the first paraplegic to receive a football scholarship. Alexander started the #FreeUAB movement in 2014 after the football, bowling, and rifle programs were terminated. He was able to gather 56 city and county proclamations supporting the teams' reinstatement and raised over $40 million in one year with the UAB Boosters and Birmingham city leaders.

Alexander graduated from UAB with a Master's degree in communication management and graduated from the John Maxwell Certification Program. He most recently released his first book "Ever Faithful, Ever Loyal: The Timothy Alexander Story" which became a best seller on Amazon in the first week of its release.
