Tim Seymour has over 17 years of global and emerging markets investment experience,as both a hedge fund manager, and across capital markets. Seymour has spent significant time living on the ground, and investing through the major booms and busts that have unfolded in the Emerging Market asset class over that time.

Seymour is a Fast Money trader, appearing nightly on CNBC, and the host of CNBC's Trading the Globe. He is also the Emerging Markets contributor for the network.

Seymour founded EmergingMoney.com in 2009 to offer investors broader insight into the Emerging Market asset class. With a view that many investors need access to dedicated emerging market analysis and"investment education," EmergingMoney.com seeks to explain EM investing and to deliver trading concepts and market insights. EmergingMoney.com offers free and subscription based content to its audience.

Seymour is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Triogem Asset Management, a hedge fund manager formed in 2008, focused on the Emerging Markets asset class. At Triogem, Seymour is the CIO and chairs the investment committee. Operating in an asset class that historically has experienced significant shifts in volatility and fund flows, Triogem approaches Emerging Markets with a bottom up, low volatility approach, that emphasizes stock picking and risk adjusted returns. Triogem's flagship fund is the Triogem Long Short GEM Fund. The firm also manages the Triogem Flexible Opportunities Fund, a long only fund, as well as SMA's for Family Offices. Prior to Triogem, Seymour was a Managing Partner at Red Star Asset Management (Moscow, New York), where the core strategy was a low volatility,multi-strat investing across Russia and the CIS.

Prior to his hedge fund career, Seymour was a Partner and Managing Director at Troika Dialog, Russia's largest investment bank. Seymour moved to Moscow in 1998 as Head of Fixed income and was later appointed Global Head of Sales for all products. In January 2000, Seymour moved from Moscow to New York to found Troika Dialog USA, a full-service FINRA/SEC regulated brokerage firm and subsidiary of Troika Dialog Group.

Seymour started his career at UBS in New York, focusing on international credit (cash,swaps, forex) in a specialized hedge fund group. Seymour completed the firm's training program after graduating with an MBA in International Finance from Fordham University. Seymour received his undergraduate degree at Georgetown University.
