Top Design mentor Todd Oldham was born on October 22, 1961 in Nueces County, Texas. He is an American fashion designer born to Jackie Ray and Linea Lee (Renfro) Oldham. During the 1990s, he hosted a segment for MTV’s House of Style called Todd Time. Oldham was also the pioneer in producing Warner Brothers’ clothing line for Batman Forever. Other than clothes, Oldham has also dabbled in designing furniture and home accessories for the La-Z-Boy Furniture company. He has also been made creative director of Old Navy on October 1, 2007.

During the 1990s, Todd Oldham won several awards for his efforts. He was given the Council of Fashion Designers Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent in 1991, and was honored as Designer of the Year by the Otis School of Design in 1998. In 2002, he received the Style and Design Award from Out magazine and Vox Vodka. The openly-gay Oldham is also a member of the advocates for Bailey House, the oldest supportive housing program for HIV/AIDS victims. He also supports the animal rights movement and works with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
