Tom Gartland is the former President of Avis Budget Group North America. He worked in this role from 2008 to 2014. His responsibilities included the management of over 20,000 employees across 5,000 locations, and overseeing over 350,000 vehicles which accounted for over $5 billion in revenue every year.

He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of Xenia Hotels and ABM. Gartland is also a Senior Advisor to a private equity firm founded by the Rockefeller and Mellon families. Gartland is the author of the book Lead with Heart: Transform Your Business Through Personal Connection, which is about business leaders can build personal connections with their employers.

Gartland received his Bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas.
