Speaker & author. A how-to, hands-on type of sales trainer, internationally known for his Value Added Selling message.


Tom is president of Sales Motivational Services, a company that specializes in sales and management training. Tom is uniquely qualified to “lead the way” because of his outstanding sales experience, educational background and success in the training field.

Tom holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology with special emphasis in motivational theory and its application to the work setting – specifically: sales!

Upon graduating from college, Tom went to work for Mallinckrodt, Inc., a Fortune 500 chemical company. In his first year, he was their top salesman in the country. He went on to start his own successful chemical company in Houston, TX.

In 1981, Tom became a full-time professional speaker and sales trainer. Since that time, Tom has traveled internationally, training tens-of-thousands of salespeople and sales managers in manufacturing, distribution, and the service industries. His client list reads like a “Who’s Who” in corporate America.

In addition to appearing on television and radio, Tom has authored over thirty-five cassette tapes and written sales articles for numerous business publications. He is also the author of the hot-selling books, Value Added Selling Techniques, and Value Added Sales Management.
