Tom X. Lee, M.D is the Chief Executive Officer and visionary behind 1Life Healthcare Inc. and One Medical Group. Mr. Lee is a nationally recognized expert on medical practice re-design, as well as mobile application design and health information technology. Prior to 1Life, he served as Chief Medical Officer, Editor-in-Chief and Vice President of Product Design of Epocrates – designer of the most widely-used clinical decision support tools for health care professionals. In addition, he served as Senior Program Officer at the California Healthcare Foundation, helping lead the evaluation of pioneer information exchange models as well as iHealthBeat – the leading health IT news service.

A board-certified internist with training completed at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he received his BS in Biology from Yale University and went on to earn his MD from the University of Washington and MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
