Tomas Diez attended the University of Simon Boliver, and the FAB Academy at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. Currently, Diez works as a Fab Lab Barcelona project manager specializing in architecture and planning. As well, he is the co-founder of Studio P52, which brings together artists of various backgrounds to produce art that goes beyond the boundaries of creativity.

The keynotes by Tomas Diez describe the upcoming changes that will take place in society in regards to production. Citizens will soon take on the leading role for producing products and this new revolution will allow citizens to create their own technology.
