Tonia Jo Hall believes it is important to teach Native American youths their identity. As a soon-to-be Lakota language teacher, she stresses that learning the language is a key component in finding that identity. She has danced jingle ever since she could walk, and to this this day, she travels across Indian country, from powwow to powwow. From a powwow baby to powwow addict.

Hall began making YouTube videos in 2010. She continues to make new content that relates to Native American people. In 2011 she made the decision to pursue stand up comedy.
