James H. Laubach

A passionate speaker who focuses on the significant role of culture in an organization's success.

Biography: James (Jim) Laubach, BS, and JD. is the president of a management consulting firm specializing in professional speakers, executive coaching, training, and development. Laubach's professional history is he owned two successful companies, was a management consultant and an executive in a privately held consulting firm and worked for a fortune 500 company. During his 35 year corporate career he held executive positions in operations, human resources, labor relations and negotiations.

Today, in addition to management consulting and coaching, Laubach is a public speaker who is passionate about the role corporate culture and politics plays in creating a successful productive environment. Laubach's premise is, an organization's culture is top down driven and requires the strongest of efforts from the executive team to succeed. In many respects, the effort should equal the organization's focus on strategic planning, he says. He believes that no matter how focused the organization is on a brilliant strategic plan, absolute success will only be achieved when resources are expended on the development of a culture which recognizes the value and purpose of each individual's contribution. Sadly, his research concludes, this philosophy is the exception to the rule and, consequently, many organizations struggle to find successful achievement of their corporate goals. His vision, to "train today's leaders for tomorrow's success." He is the author of Motivating the Motivator.
