Tony Parisi is a trailblazer in the realms of the metaverse and virtual reality, boasting a multifaceted career as an inventor, entrepreneur, investor, author, and musician. Renowned for his pioneering work, he has co-crafted numerous international 3D graphics standards and penned authoritative tomes on 3D and virtual reality programming.

His contributions extend to executive roles in both startups and established tech giants, where he has lent his expertise to shape the industry's trajectory. Notably, Parisi is the esteemed author behind O’Reilly Media’s seminal works on 3D graphics and VR, "Learning Virtual Reality," "Programming 3D Applications in HTML5 and WebGL," and "WebGL Up and Running."

A prominent advocate for immersive technologies, Parisi has traversed the globe delivering keynote addresses on industry insights and groundbreaking innovations in augmented reality, virtual reality, the creator economy, and the music industry. His impact has been recognized by Next Reality, who named him among the "30 People to Watch in Augmented Reality" in 2019 and 2020, and in 2024, Parisi was honored as one of the inaugural inductees into the XR Hall of Fame.

Parisi is the founder of Metatron Studio, a content company for the metaverse, while also serving as an advisor and limited partner in early-stage venture firms. Previously, he lent his strategic acumen to Lamina1, a groundbreaking layer 1 blockchain, and for over six years spearheaded Unity's XR efforts, including leading innovation in the company’s Ads and E-Commerce division, where he orchestrated the development of cutting-edge real-time 3D brand advertising and commerce solutions.

Parisi is also a composer and musician. He completed the cast recording for "Judgment Day," an original full-length musical, and introduced it into the world as a series of NFTs, marking the pioneering fusion of musical theater and blockchain technology.
