Author, Certified Life Coach and Motivational Speaker, Traci Campbell, grew up with the challenges of a struggling, single parent family from inner-city Baltimore. This was compounded by watching her mother suffer from depression, anxiety and unhappiness that ultimately lead to her poor health and unfulfilled life. Determined to be a successful career woman, Campbell earned extra money as a local print model in her teens and worked other odd jobs to help her mother pay the bills. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in computer science, she eventually became an IT consultant and trainer. For more than fifteen years she worked for high-profile corporate clients including Sears, IBM, and McDonalds Corporation. Success, however, didn't keep her from experiencing the pain of relationship challenges, heartbreak, and other hardships so common for both men and women in today's world.
Life changed dramatically for Campbell in 2003 when she earned her Certification in Life and Business Coaching. She had found her true calling: helping others work through their personal obstacles to live the life they desired. Today, Campbell is engaging and easy-going, yet her action-oriented personality has led her to work with people of all ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities around the world.
Through radio, internet, and print media, she has interviewed and interacted with teens and adults who cannot seem to find the balance between inner peace and personal satisfaction. They struggle with the external pressure to handle family responsibilities while trying to live up to society's unrealistic standards about success and prosperity.
To help them, Traci recently founded The C.H.A.M.P. Community Project, a nonprofit organization aimed at placing The C.H.A.M.P. Within self-help program in at-risk schools, rehabilitation centers, shelters and other venues reaching adults and teens from single family homes. The C.H.A.M.P. Within live events are highly interactive and have proven successful for both teens and adults in helping them overcome low self-esteem, bullying, insecurities, divorce, physical abuse, domestic violence, and other emotional challenges. The program can be found in communities across the U.S. and overseas in cities including Nairobi, Kenya.
