Tracie Hotchner is a nationally acclaimed pet wellness advocate, who wrote THE DOG BIBLE: Everything Your Dog Wants You to Know and THE CAT BIBLE: Everything Your Cat Expects You to Know. She is recognized as the premiere voice for pets and their people on pet talk radio. With expertise in the area of pet nutrition issues, she is an educator and influencer to pet parents and to companies in the pet industry, She continues to produce and host her own Gracie® Award winning NPR show DOG TALK® (and Kitties, Too!) from Peconic Public Broadcasting in the Hamptons after 13 consecutive years and over 650 shows. She produced and hosted her own live, call-in show CAT CHAT® on the Martha Stewart channel of Sirius/XM for nearly 8 years until the channel was canceled, when Tracie created her own Radio Pet Lady Network™ where she produces and hosts CAT CHAT® along with her other pet talk radio podcasts with top veterinarians and pet experts.

Tracie also is the Founder and Director of the annual NY Dog Film Festival™ - a celebration through short films of the love between dogs and their people. Tracie also founded and directs the NY Cat Film Festival™ - a medley of short cat-centric films that explore the mystique of fascinating felines. With a New York City premiere every November, both philanthropic festivals then travel across the country, partnering with local animal welfare groups in every location that receive a portion of every ticket.

Tracie’s speaking engagements include keynote speaker at Pet Sitters International annual convention; gave [underwritten] presentations on “Understanding Fur Parents” to the veterinary school at University of California/ Davis, Tufts University and Virginia Tech. She hosted numerous “Dog Bible Pooch Party Dinners” at restaurants in the Hamptons, where she was a year-round resident. She was hired to speak on “What Are you Feeding your Pet?!” for a year-end gala at Second Chance Animal Shelter. In July 2019 she was hired to give a presentation and Q&A on “The Mysteries of the Human-Animal Bond” at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont.

Tracie lives in Bennington, Vermont – where the Radio Pet Lady Network™ studio is based.
