Tressie Lieberman is Vice President of Digital Marketing and Off-Premise at Chipotle. She is extremely passionate about building winning teams, developing others, connecting to culture and solving big problems in new ways. Lieberman is responsible for connecting to customers in relevant ways through loyalty, CRM and social media. She is also focused on driving growth of digital ordering, delivery, and catering.
Previously, Lieberman led marketing, brand experience and menu for Snap Kitchen. As CMO in a start-up, she touched every part of the customer journey from engaging team members to designing retail shops and establishing our presence in wholesale. Throughout her time, the team transformed the menu, evolved the shopping experience, went through a full rebranding and built a true omni-channel model by growing the digital business.
In Lieberman’s previous role at Taco Bell, she created an incubator to disrupt through technology before being disrupted, initiating projects like Slack ordering and gamified loyalty. She led the social strategy to stop talking as a corporation and start sharing as a friend across channels, putting Taco Bell on the map as a cult brand that gets millennials. She loved experimenting along the way with bets such as being the first brand on Snapchat, launching a change.org petition for the taco emoji and embracing influencer marketing before it was a thing.
Lieberman was honored to lead the initiative to build a mobile ordering platform to enable customization. The social blackout campaign to support the launch moved the app to the top 20 free apps in the App Store within its first day of launch and won numerous Cannes Lions. The app was included as one of the 20 Best Ads of 2014 by Fast Company and also contributed towards Taco Bell being named in Fast Company’s Top Most Innovative Marketers story.
