Tricia Fidler

Gold Level KonMari Consultant & Founder of Heywood Park Collective

As a military dependent growing up around the world, Tricia Fidler was practiced at settling into new space. This served her well into her adult life as many corporate life relocations would follow! Yet finding a long-term solution to managing clutter and creating calm intentional spaces proved elusive. Fidler discovered the lifestyle methods outlined in Marie Kondo’s bestseller “The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up” to be a successful framework. She reconnected with her home and belongings in a meaningful way while managing the loss of her parents and preparing to be an “empty nester.”

Fidler called on her skillset as an organizational development professional with a keen interest in helping others and became one of the first certified global KonMari Method® consultants in May 2017, trained by Marie Kondo, creating the San Diego based consulting practice Heywood Park Collective. As Subject Matter Expert on the groundbreaking Netflix show “Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” – which introduced the method to millions of viewers worldwide-Fidler was selected to guide the cast families as they decluttered their homes.

Fidler has logged over 1,600 hours reaching the “Master” designation partnering with clients. She has been sought after by social media influencers overcome with promotional products, college campuses offering tips to dorm students and podcasts dedicated to the KonMari Method®. As she shared with these various clients, Fidler believes curating our physical belongings sets us on a path of self-discovery and through the use of a lens of joy, allows the process to become an antidote to stress and burnout while promoting growth and wellness.

In 2019, Fidler’s company Heywood Park Collective brought the “joy lens” to businesses looking to build connections with customers and 2020 virtual programming began for employees adjusting to work from home business models. Clients have included: Rakuten, Shea Homes San Diego, Room and Board, BOSA Developers, Great Parks Communities, and others. Creating an ideal worklife was highlighted in the press interviews. Her strategic goals for 2021 include interactive workshops focusing on organizational habit change and mental fitness through Positive Intelligence® and the KonMari Method®.
