Troy Cartwright, a country music singer-songwriter, commenced his career in the music field in 2013. Soon after his debut, he managed to garner recognition by winning the 2013 B. W. Stevenson Songwriting Competition and being awarded the Rising Star Texas Music Award the following year. His extended play (EP), "Don't Fade," made its appearance on several Billboard music charts in 2016, peaking at No. 60 on the US Country Chart.
