Actor Known for Role as Phil Dunphy in ABC's "Modern Family"

Ty Burrell is a renowned actor who gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Phil Dunphy on the ABC sitcom "Modern Family." The role earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2011 and 2014. In 2024, it was announced that Burrell would be returning to ABC to star in the comedy pilot "Forgive and Forget." In addition to his TV work, Burrell has an extensive filmography, with roles in notable films like Evolution, Black Hawk Down, Dawn of the Dead, Muppets Most Wanted, and The Incredible Hulk.

Aside from his on-screen performances, Burrell has also lent his voice to several animated films, including Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Finding Dory, and Storks.
