Violinist, Leukemia Survivor, Survivor of Childhood Bullying & Reality TV Star

Tyler Butler-Figueroa is a violinist and Leukemia Survivor, who was diagnosed when he was 4 1/2 years old and is now in remission. His music genres include: Pop, Classical, Gospel, Folk, Memorial, Patriotic, Soft Rock, Line Dance, Nigerian, Hip Hop, Country and Spanish.

While he was undergoing cancer treatment, Butler-Figueroa started taking violin lessons through his school. He quickly advanced out of the beginner lessons and started watching YouTube videos to teach himself more advanced techniques.

His mom did not have extra money for a violin teacher, so Butler-Figueroa decided to street perform to save money and help out his family. Butler-Figueroa was watching "America's Got Talent" in 2018 and saw the violinist Brian King Joseph that inspired him. He saved up the money to travel to audition for the show. Butler-Figueroa received the "Golden Buzzer" from Simon Cowell that advanced him to the Live Rounds. He finished as a Top 10 Finalist. Butler-Figueroa then appeared and performed on the Ellen Show. Butler-Figueroa then traveled back to California to compete on "America's Got Talent: The Champions" Season 2 where he placed 3rd in the world while competing with other competitors that came from all across the world and some had even won "Got Talent" shows in the past.
