Ujwal Kayande  

Professor of Marketing at Melbourne Business School

Ujwal Kayande is Professor of Marketing and Director of the Centre for Business Analytics at Melbourne Business School, and a Fellow at the Institute for Sustainable Innovation and Growth (iSIG) at Fudan University, Shanghai. An analytics evangelist, he started teaching marketing analytics in the nineties, long before analytics became sexy. He has taught marketing analytics and strategy at a number of top business schools around the world, including the Wharton School, Penn State, Mannheim, and ESSEC.

Ujwal has won a number of research and teaching awards, including the Lehmann Award from the American Marketing Association, Distinguished Researcher from the Australia/NZ Marketing Academy, and the Smeal Teaching Excellence Award from Penn State. He is globally respected for his thought-leadership in marketing analytics and strategy, reflected in his appointment on the Boards of top journals such as Journal of Marketing and Journal of Service Research. He has consulted on marketing analytics for a number of blue chip organisations, including CocaCola, Merck, IBM, DuPont, Sanofi, and Vision Australia.
