Us the Duo

Husband & Wife Musical Duo Popularized on Vine

In 2011 two emerging solo artists from opposite sides of the country randomly collided, fell in love and combined their talents to form Us The Duo. A few successful YouTube videos (25+ million views) encouraged these pop-folk songwriters to write their own music together, leading them to produce their first self-titled album in 2012. After its release, Michael and Carissa got married and have been traveling and playing music together ever since.

Since then they have gained quick exposure. They released their second album, No Matter Where You Are, in 2014 followed by a third release, Just Love, in 2016. Us The Duo have also made a name for themselves on Vine, with their 6-second musical covers and arrangements – gaining over 3.3 million followers.

Us The Duo attended the 2014 Billboard Music Awards as official digital influencer artists and their successes have led to press and media attention from Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Business Insider, BuzzFeed and iHeartRadio. Us The Duo toured with Oprah in 2014 and performed live for Good Morning America in 2016.
