Utkarsh Ambudkar is an actor who earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He is a former VJ for MTV Desi. He has appeared in the comedy films Pitch Perfect and Brittany Runs a Marathon and in the television shows The Mindy Project and The Muppets. In 2020, he will appear in Mulan, Free Guy and Godmothered. He is also a part of Freestyle Love, a hip-hop improv group, and participated in their limited series as well as making his Broadway debut with the group's self-titled show.

He is also a NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Health) Ambassador where he works to destigmatize mental illness.
