Uwem Ward
Domestic Abuse & Recovery Advocate; Expert on Coping with Trauma; Founder of ALL MADE WELL Recovery Programs and Coaching
Uwem Ward is a fiery visionary and self-love advocate who helps women of color to own, voice, heal, and conquer their story and their purpose. She is a published author, a heartfelt public speaker, a small group leader at The Father’s House in Vacaville, CA, a domestic survivor advocate with Northwest Family Life in Seattle, Washington, and a trained leader for Celebrate Recovery and the California Black Women's Health Project. She is a new blogger on her page, The #HolyHotHead Blog.
Ward is the founder and CEO of ALL MADE WELL Recovery Programs (AMW) based in East Sacramento. ALL MADE WELL programs are designed to create safe spaces for leaders, healers, and high achievers to find freedom from their traumas, be fully present, and well for the communities that need them. AMW groups deal with everything from childhood abuse, addiction, betrayal trauma, racial and spiritual trauma, as well as “culturally acceptable” and not so acceptable coping mechanisms. ALL MADE WELL partners with local churches to bring a “healing culture” so the church can have the impact that Jesus did.
Besides all that she does in the community, Coach Ward is also a formerly homeschooling mother of 4 and married to her high school sweetheart.
Speech Topics
Leveling Authority Structures Brings Compassion
Parenting has brought ALL of my issues to the surface. And because recovery is my whole world, God is teaching me beautiful lessons through parenting differently than what I saw growing up. So I talk about how gentle parenting, homeschooling, and healing me changed the dynamic with my 4 ADHD children!
Betrayal Trauma and Sex Addiction
Betrayal Trauma and Sex addiction. Healing your marriage is possible. With support from someone who gets it.
Racism and Healing
Healing, even admitting, racial trauma is a complicated process. Every person on this planet is impacted by colonization and the generations of racial trauma. We need safe spaces to first vent that. And then in the clarity that comes from healing, we need to get to work. But ONLY in that order!
Broken people Break Sh…Stuff
Broken people Break Sh…Stuff is an intro into the mind of a recovery coach turned mindset coach. We all have areas of brokenness. But unhealed, we become just like those who hurt us. Healed, we become exactly what God designed to combat it.
