Retired NFL Safety, Christian Leader

Vernon Fox is a retired American football safety. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent after the 2002 NFL Draft. Fox also played for the Detroit Lions and the Washington Redskins. He played college football at Fresno State. Fox is currently a professional motivational speaker.

In February 2013, he was hired to be head football coach and admissions counselor at Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School in Las Vegas, NV.

Fox embodies a man with proper priorities: Faith, Family, and Career. Vernon has served in ministry for over 10 years and in the capacity of a minister since 2008. His desire to help others is driven by his calling and passion for the ministry. Fox has spoken at numerous churches, small groups, schools, and organizations all over the country. His status during his time as an NFL player opened many doors for Fox, but his charismatic and gifted personality along with abilities has kept many of them open. His story of trial and achievement translates all areas from faith-based, to community-based, and even corporate-based sectors. His exhilarating and dynamic speaking style has been described as “inspirational with the ability to motivate.”
