Actress, Producer, Director, Writer, American Ballet Theatre Alum & Founder of Rowell Foster Children's Positive Plan (RFCPP)

Born in Maine, Victoria Rowell is a New York Times bestselling author of, "The Women Who Raised Me," (HarperCollins). She is also a Simon & Schuster novelist, "Secrets of a Soap Opera" Diva and more. She was recognized by 193 members of Congress for advocacy on behalf of education, foster and adoptive youth, parents and social workers. She founded, directed The Rowell Foster Children's Positive Plan charity for 20 years, providing arts scholarships and college stipends. Served on the Princeton University Center for African American Studies Advisory under Professor Eddie Glaude.

Rowell appeared in A Ballerina’s Tale, starring prima ballerina, Misty Copland. Rowell is an alumna of American Ballet Theater and an American Ballet Theater/Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Accredited teacher. She served on the Americans for the Arts board of directors and has spoken on Capitol Hill on arts advocacy in underserved communities. For fifteen years Rowell served as a spokesperson for The Annie E. Casey Foundation, the charitable arm of United Parcel Service building better futures for children and families.

She is an EMMY nominated actress, 12x NAACP Image Awardee, producer, director and lecturer. She founded her production company, Days Ferry Productions shortly after relocating to Los Angeles from New York City to pursue her acting and filmmaking career.
