Vivian Hunt    

Managing Partner for UK & Ireland at McKinsey & Company; Expert on Leadership & Diversity

Vivian is the Managing Partner for McKinsey & Company’s United Kingdom and Ireland offices.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Vivian is a leader within the firm on leadership and diversity. She frequently speaks on McKinsey’s flagship research on the topic and has co-authored publications, such as Women Matter, Delivering through Diversity, and The Power of Parity: How advancing women’s equality can add $12 trillion to global growth. She was previously named as one of the top ten “most influential black people in Britain” by the Powerlist Foundation, and The Financial Times identified her as one of the “European Women to Watch” and more recently as one of the 30 most influential people in the City of London.

Vivian is on the board of several important business groups in the United Kingdom, including BritishAmerican Business, the CBI London Council, and the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board. She is also a member of the UK Government-backed Industrial Strategy Council and the Trilateral Commission. Vivian is Chair of HRH Prince of Wales’ Business in the Community’s “Seeing is Believing” programme, and a reader for the Queen’s Anniversary Prize. She sits on the Advisory Council of the Tate Modern and the Southbank Centre, the Teach First’s Business Leaders’ Council, and is on the board of the US–UK Fulbright Commission.

Vivian is an alumna of Harvard College and received her MBA from Harvard Business School. In 2018, Vivian was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to the economy and women in business.
