Mr. Lavrenchuk graduated with a diploma in Economics from the Kyiv National Economics University. Since 1982 he has been working in the banking sector in various banking institutions including Oschadnybank Ukraine, Ukrinbank and Raiffeisen Bank Aval. On the 5th October 2005 he was appointed CEO of the Raiffeisen Bank Aval. Mr. Lavrenchuk is Member of the Board of Directors of the European Business Association, Member of the Supervisory Board of International Management Institute and Board of Trustees of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Volodymyr Lavrenchuk had been named the best banking manager from 2008 till 2010 by The Guard of Top Managers Ranking. In 2009 the same ranking listed him among top three managers of all industries in Ukraine. In 2011 Mr. Lavrenchuk was nominated as “The Best Top Manager” according to the magazine “Top 100. Business Leaders of Ukraine Ranking”.
