Wendy Sun is the Senior Director of Tencent Financial Technology Group. Ms. Sun leads the strategic partnership development, key account management in overseas payment markets. She and her team are devoted to bringing Tencent’s financial technology experience and solution to partners worldwide. Ms. Sun also looks after the international expansion and in-depth partnership opportunities for Tencent. Ms. Sun has solid experience in mobile payment business development. Prior to joining Tencent, Ms. Sun served as the managing director and head of business development for Grab Financial Group, head of business development for Alipay International Business in the Southeast Asia region and business development director for UnionPay International in the Southeast Asia region. Ms. Sun holds a master’s degree in economics from Fudan University. She also serves as honorary advisor (strategic partnerships) for AI Singapore.
