His first job was working for N.B Hunt out of Dallas, TX. He was sent to Moscow, Russia for two years working on mineral resource project evaluation. Hunt Enterprises then had him start an Internet service provider in Dallas, TX during 1994. Later, Will was transferred down to Nicaragua as controller for a gold mining operation.

Will returned to Dallas in 1996 and entered the computer industry as a network administrator. During nights and weekends he and his partner, Dave Kennedy, founded Web Media Ventures, which launched an online dating service. This grew into the largest online dating company and is now known as Match.com. It was sold to Ticket-Master City Search at the end of 1999.

He has been involved in many startups over the last ten years, including: Click Patrol (sold to rival), Cookbook Wiki (sold to Wikia), and owns a large comercial fish farm in AR (good reason to talk to father every day). His latest major project is an online educational platform, YoYoBrain.com He is actively mentoring other entrepreneurs and looking for interesting projects to work on.
