William F. Martin
Dr. Wm. Marty Martin has worked with individuals, couples, and organizations for more than 15 years as a psychologist, human resources executive, and OD consultant.
During the past decade, Dr. Martin has focused on advising executives, business owners, entrepreneurs and physicians on how to create and sustain work/life balance while improving productivity as well as consulting with organizations to design and deliver core processes to leverage the full contribution of diverse employees.
Dr. 'Marty' MartinDuring the past decade, Dr. Martin has had the honor of serving as Associate Vice President at DePaul University, Senior Executive for Institutional Diversity at DePaul University, Clinical Associate Professor at Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine, Director of Human Resources (Workplace Diversity) at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Manager of Employment & Training at Tulane University Hospital & Clinics and Director of EAP/Worksite Wellness at Xavier University of Louisiana. Prior to completing his education in 1990, Dr. Martin served as both an internal and external consultant at AT&T and Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Martin earned a joint Doctor of Psychology/Masters in Public Health degree specializing in health psychology from Rutgers University in 1989 and then served as a postdoctoral fellow in Primary Health Care Psychology. Prior to earning his PsyD/MPH, he earned his MA in psychology from Catholic University, his BS in biology/chemistry with honors from Xavier University of Louisiana, and his HS degree from Gonzaga College High School in Washington, D.C.
During the past 15 years, Dr. Martin has not only been nationally recognized as a psychologist specializing in human resources and work/life balance in organizational settings but also one of the leading experts in Occupational Stress and Money Psychology. Dr. Martin was honored by the National Institutes of Occupational Safety & Health as a Visiting Scholar in Residence where he studied the psychological impact of job loss resulting from downsizing. Most recently, Dr. Martin has been recognized by Money Quotient, Inc. as one of the few psychologists dedicated to financial life planning, retirement planning, and workplace financial education.
Dr. Martin is licensed as a psychologist in both the State of Illinois and the State of Louisiana. He is also a Member of The National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and earned his Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology (CPQ) from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.
