William Hall is the President of Ipsos Healthcare Japan Ltd. and Chairman, Ipsos Business Consulting Japan.

He has spent more than 40 years in business in Japan, primarily in market research and consulting, with an interregnum as Japan president for two Fortune 500 companies.

Hall is a highly regarded expert on the Japanese market, health-care trends and the impact of the aging society on the Japanese economy.

He has written and lectured extensively on the business opportunities created by the aging population and on innovative approaches developed in Japan in its role as the test market for how the world should treat the aging and elderly in our society.

He is one of the founders of the Ipsos Connected Health Centre of Excellence, which provides cross-country comparisons on the uptake and usage of various digital-health products and initiatives.

Hall completed his undergrad studies at Sydney University and his post-graduate studies at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo.
