William von Hippel is a professor of psychology at the University of Queensland. Previously, he taught over a decade at Ohio State University. He has published more than 100 articles, chapters, and edited books, and his work has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, the Economist, Le Monde, Il Mundo, Der Spiegel, and the Australian.
