William Zhou is the co-founder and CEO of Chalk.com, an education software company focused in K-12. Today, Chalk.com is used in over 20,000 schools and it is empowering teachers to focus on what matters most — their students. Recently, William has also been named in the Forbes 30 Under 30.

William has been passionate about entrepreneurship from a young age, founding his first company in high school. He launched his first Internet business in 2010, which he sold at the age 18 during his first year at the University of Waterloo.

A day dreamer, William is adventurous, curious, and odd at times. Born in Beijing and raised in Vancouver, William now resides in the cold and wintry Waterloo, Canada. During his time off, William loves to travel, enjoys the arts, and craves for more knowledge.
