Xavier Unkovic is the Global President of Mars Drinks. Mars Drinks is comprised of two business categories, Klix and Single Serve. Most recently, Xavier Unkovic has worked for the Mars Drinks Single Serve segment as the Regional President since February 2010. He has joined forces managing the US, Canadian, Japanese, and Asian markets and addition to the Continental Single Serve markets under the single mission; “To deliver the best-tasting hassle free drinks you’ll ever get in the office.” Mars Drinks’ focus is on the “office potential” and understanding the unique needs of home vs. office.

Xavier has been with Mars Incorporated since 1992, when he started with the Royal Canin business of the Mars Petcare segment. While with Royal Canin, Xavier spent 17 years within various roles, including CFO of France then moved to Sales as a Regional Sales Director, National Key Account manager in France, then transferred to North America in 1999 as Vice President of Royal Canin Canada. In 2000, Xavier took on the role of General Manager and C.E.O. of Royal Canin USA. In January 2003, Xavier moved back to Canada as the General Manager position, C.E.O of Royal Canin Canada to manage the acquisition of Medi-Cal and Techni-cal and the construction of the Guelph factory.

Previously, Xavier worked for Deloitte & Touche as an auditor specializing in Merger & Acquisition Audits from 1989-1992.

Xavier has an extensive educational background. He received his Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Montpellier in 1988. He received further education from Ecole Supérieure de Gestion de Paris (Paris University of Advanced Studies) in 1989. He also attended the National Institute of Marketing from 1996-1997.

Xavier resides in Ardmore Pennsylvania, with his wife Anne-Sophie and his children Iona (13 –Canadian) and Luca (11 –American). Xavier also enjoys his free time. He can be seen out less and less on tennis courts, golf course, and soccer field, but more and more in Dojos practicing his favorite martial arts, Karate. He enjoys scuba diving and has a passion for traveling.
