As a Public Policy & Government Affairs Googler, Yamen is responsible for developing relations and joint cooperation programs with Governments in MENA for technology adoption, Internet industry development and online business growth. Google aims through this cooperation to jointly create a better environment for innovation, access to information and economic growth in the region.

A management professional with a diverse career that spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Yamen has several years of experience working with the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) where he served as Manager of Operations for the 4th and 5th Global Competitiveness Forums (www.gcf.org.sa). He also worked in the Saudi Aramco Oil Company's Treasury in different positions spanning Corporate Investments, Asset Management and Pension Investments.

Yamen is a Young Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum (WEF) selected to found the Riyadh hub and a former Organizing Committee Member and Master of Ceremonies at the BMG Foundation. Yamen holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration with Concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Boston University's School of Management where he was a Beta Alpha Psi honoree and currently serves as Boston University Alumni Association's First Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
