Yasar Jarrar is a Partner at Bain & Company in the United Arab Emirates. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Center for Business Performance at the Cranfield School of Management in the UK, an Adjunct Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at NUS in Singapore and a Senior Adviser of the Harvard International Negotiation Initiative at Harvard University. Jarrar was formerly a Partner of PwC, where he led the Global Education Consulting and Middle East Strategy Group. Prior to PwC, he served as the Executive Dean of the Dubai School of Government and was a Fellow at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He also served as Strategy Adviser at The Executive Office of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai, and was Director of the Government Performance Directorate in the Prime Ministry of Jordan and previously as Head of Policy and Strategy on the Executive Council of the Dubai Government. He is the author of numerous reports and papers on strategy and performance management.
