Yes Theory

Adventure Seekers & YouTube Stars

Yes Theory is one of the most inspiring creative entities to emerge in recent years. Driven by their motto “Seek Discomfort,” this group of friends travel the world conquering everyday fears with the help of their community.

In the summer of 2015, four strangers met in Montreal, Canada. Ammar Kandil from Egypt, Thomas Brag from France, Matt Dajer from the US and Derin Emre from Turkey. Together, they bonded over the idea that life is best lived outside of the comfort zone. So with a total of $500 to their name, they moved into our friend’s one-bedroom apartment and started making videos where they tackled some of their biggest fears and seeking discomfort. They started a video series called "Project 30" where they documented the process of doing 30 new things in 30 days. A few thousand subscribers later, they'd found their calling and caught the attention of Liz Murdoch’s Vertical Networks.

Since then they've had a show on Snapchat Discover, moved to Los Angeles, and had countless life altering experiences. Now best known for their YouTube channel, Yes Theory is based in Venice Beach, California. They continue to produce unique, adventurous, and inspiring content, consistently pulling in over 20 million views per month. From tackling insecurities like asking strangers for favors to bungee jumping out of a helicopter with Will Smith into the Grand Canyon, Yes Theory is on a mission to inspire, empower and unify a community of people committed to reaching their full potential by seeking discomfort.

In September 2019, Yes Theory released a documentary titled "The Lost Pyramid," and allow customers to choose how much they pay to view it.
