Yingyong Nilasena is deputy secretary general and chief investment officer of Thailand’s Government Pension Fund. Before joining GPF in 2010, he had worked in investment research and fund management for more than 25 years in well-known financial institutions in Thailand such as Kasikorn Asset Management and Phatra Thanakit. He is a former director of Thailand’s Association of Investment Management Companies and also served as chairman of the association’s Academics and Standard Practices Committee. Yingyong is a member of the derivatives and complex instruments subcommittee for Thailand’s Securities and Exchange Commission and an investment committee for the Thai Red Cross Society. He is a CFA and CFP charterholder.
