Yoshito Hori        

President and Dean of Globis University & Managing Partner of Globis Capital Partners

Yoshito Hori is president of Globis University and managing partner of Globis Capital Partners, which he established in 1996. Hori founded the Globis Management School in 1992, and its M.B.A. program was accredited in 2006. A full-time English M.B.A. program was established in 2012. A former Sumitomo Corp. employee, Hori founded the Entrepreneurs' Organization chapter in Japan and became the first board member from Asia to act as Asia Pacific vice president. He has served on several World Economic Forum bodies, including the New Asian Leaders Executive Committee, Global Agenda Council on New Models of Leadership and the Community of Global Growth Companies. In 2008, he launched the G1 summit, hoping to create the Japanese version of WEF's Davos event. Hori is a board member of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives and chairman of the KIBOW Foundation, which he founded after the 2011 earthquake to support rebuilding. The author of several books, Hori holds a B.S. from Kyoto University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
