The Young Gunz are an American rap duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania composed of Young Chris and Neef Buck .

Young Gunz is a rap duo from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania composed of Young Chris (born Chris Ries in 1983) and Neef Buck (born Hanif Muhammad in 1985). Ries and Muhammad have been friends since childhood.The group is part of Beanie Sigel's State Property collective

In 2001, the duo performed on the State Property soundtrack album and starred in the film of the same name. The duo performed together on guest appearances Jay-Z's “The Blueprint 2” in 2002, Freeway's Philadelphia Freeway, State Property's The Chain Gang Vol. 2 in 2003 and Memphis Bleek's M.A.D.E. in 2003.

Their debut single, “Can't Stop, Won't Stop,” appeared on State Property's The Chain Gang Vol. 2” and peaked at #14 the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and at #6 on the Billboard Rap Tracks chart.

After the success of "Can't Stop, Won't Stop", Young Gunz released their debut album, *Tough Luv,” in 2004. The album spawned the singles: “No Better Love,” featuring Rell, and “Friday Night,” and peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

After a brief hiatus, the duo returned with their second album, Brothers from Another in 2005, which reached #15 on the Billboard 200. It included guest features from Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Slim of 112 and John Legend.
