Katorah Marrero, better known by her stage name Young M.A, is an American rapper, best known for her 2016 hit single "Ooouuu". The "M.A" in her stage name stands for "me always".

She self-funded a recording studio with local record producers in order to produce her own music.

In 2015, Young M.A released a new song, called "Body Bag", which became a "YouTube hit", along with the release of her mixtape called Sleep Walkin'.

In 2016, Young M.A released her official debut single, "Ooouuu", which peaked at number 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. In September 2016, the song had nearly 7 million plays on Spotify and was widely remixed by other rappers and hip-hop artists such as French Montana, Remy Ma, Jadakiss, Uncle Murda, ASAP Ferg, Bryan Mathers and Tink.

Despite the attention she has garnered from labels for her single "Ooouuu", M.A remains an independent artist.

Young M.A has appeared on the covers of magazines The Fader and High Snobriety, in addition to being featured in The New York Times and Vogue.

In 2018, Young M.A was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Music category.

Young M.A is also charitably involved, having launched the KWEENZ Foundation with her mother in 2018. KWEENZ Foundation aims to help people in her New York neighborhood dealing with the grief that comes after the death of a loved one.

M.A. is openly gay, a topic that she addresses in her music and on her YouTube channel "Kat Kasanova".
